Tony and the Yankees' Veteran of the Game LLC this program made a dream come true for my family. My grandfather, who was born in the Bronx and served in WWII, passed away during the height of the COVID pandemic. After finding out about the program, Tony made it as seamless as possible. When he was honored at the Yankees-Astros game in June 2022, my family was touched by the crowd cheering for him and seeing his face on the Megatron and on YES Network. He died at 99 years old, and that night after my grandfather was honored, #99 Aaron Judge hit the walk-off game-winner to cap the comeback. It's something none of us will ever forget, all because Tony and the Veteran of the Game program made it a possibility
